What if we told you that your doors could become smart too ?
In the era of connected devices, smart homes, and autonomous cars, it’s worth exploring what this new technological revolution can bring to building management. Managing buildings or facilities also means collecting reliable and relevant data on site. No worries: for control, security, and facility management, the Internet of Things (IoT) opens new horizons, and Ineo-Sense is determined to be part of it. Discover the ACS-Switch device, which enables your premises, residences, offices, and other buildings to become true Smart Buildings.
The ACS-Switch: What is it for ?
The ACS-Switch uses a magnetic sensor to detect the opening of doors, windows, garages, trunks, and more generally, any type of access. More than just an opening detector, this device can also serve as an infrastructure management system. Thanks to its many options, it can help plan preventive maintenance based on the use of premises, track staff comings and goings, and keep an inventory.
In other words, it becomes a real management tool. The ACS-Switch device adapts to your needs; it is available in 4 versions: internal reed switch sensor, remote magnetic detector, infrared presence sensor (PIR), and accelerometer version.

A latest version with many more advantages
The accelerometer enables event detection far more effectively than a simple magnet. For example, imagine you arrive at your workplace and open the building door, then a colleague arrives and reopens the door before you have fully closed it. In this case, a magnet detector wouldn’t register the second opening, whereas an accelerometer-based detector would do so without issue. Simply put, this version detects any linear acceleration of the object it is attached to, allowing for a much wider range of use cases than just monitoring a door or window. Additionally, installation is simplified with a single housing to install, requiring no alignment between magnets.
Information transmission is mainly done via LoRaWAN, either periodically or triggered by an event depending on the associated network. It can also be performed using the bidirectional Clover-Net protocol, enabling interconnected sensor networks for better interpretation of collected data. Furthermore, networking allows sharing of LoRaWAN subscriptions, increasing operational profitability when multiple devices are deployed within the same building.
ACS Switch – a true access controller
When paired with the ACS-Cylinder, our smart lock, the ACS-Switch device becomes a genuine access controller, capable of identifying and logging entries, checking the door’s status, and detecting intrusions. It is also compatible with the INS-Player mobile app, which manages Clover-Net compatible devices, providing you with a fully autonomous security system controllable at your fingertips.
With easy installation (glued or screwed onto any opening mechanism), long battery life, shared subscriptions, and the low cost of LoRaWAN products, the ACS-Switch offers a durable, economical, and easy-to-implement solution.
