Semtech & Ineo-Sense – 14,000 Sensors deployed at Lauak

Semtech : More Than Just a Component Supplier

Semtech supports device manufacturers and solution providers using its LoRa technology to ensure it fully meets real-world operational requirements. In this context, the LAUAK deployment project, led by Ineo-Sense, is the first to incorporate such a high density of LoRaWAN devices (14,000 units on a single industrial site) — a unique initiative that Semtech is proud to be part of, and certainly not the last.

“Semtech’s LoRa devices enable production managers and engineers to remotely monitor the usage, status, functionality, and location of valuable industrial assets in real time. Previously, there was no efficient way to do this in a production environment, forcing companies to manually locate equipment across facilities that often exceed 10,000 m²,” explains Olivier Guilbaud, founder and CEO of Ineo-Sense.

Ineo-Sense : A Pioneer in Smart sensor development

Ineo-Sense is a pioneer in the development of smart, autonomous sensors for IoT applications and has been collaborating with Semtech since the early days of LoRa technology (initially through CYCLEO). Unlike many manufacturers of standardized sensors, Ineo-Sense stands out by designing advanced, innovative techniques to deliver high-value services tailored to the needs of Industry 4.0.

These services are built on proven functional blocks brought together in the "Clover-Core" — a true IoT accelerator. This robust and high-performance suite of embedded software modules enables rapid development and unmatched time-to-market.

Thanks to this foundation, Ineo-Sense can combine multiple communication protocols, merging fast and secure data collection with instant access to sensors, enabling real-time equipment identification — all with a simple click from the company dashboard.
